Sunday 4th July - field meeting - Hellworth Beck in the North York Moors, led by Paul Hildreth. Saturday 28th August - Roadshow at Hornsea Museum. Organised by Stuart Jones. Open to the public from 11 am until 3 pm. Sorry, no valuations. Disabled access is very good and families are most welcome. Admission to the Roadshow is free, but there may be a charge for visiting the Museum. Saturday 11th September - field meeting - Whitby and Whitby Museum, with a fish and chips lunch led by Paul Hildreth. Saturday 2nd October - Hildenley Quarries and Brows Hill Quarry led by Richard Myerscough (a tribute to Felix Whitham field meeting) Sunday 10th October - field meeting to South Landing led by Mike Horne (a tribute to Felix Whitham field meeting). Non-members are welcome to attend but please arrive before the start of the meeting . If you arrive late the building may be locked for security reasons and you will not be able to get in, particularly if we are using the first floor lecture theatres. If we are in the ground floor lecture theatre you can knock on the window and we will let you in. The Microscopy Evenings are for members only , sorry !
